Hewland ST-030 five speed dog ring gear box for sale, as shown. Includes many extra gear sets, with two tote boxes. We have not run this box, and it came in as a spare, to a GT-1 car which we purchased. See photos, for further details. Does not include a shifter. The box rotates freely, and engages, when manually shifted. There appears to have been a repair, to the tail shaft area of the case, which can be seen, in the photos.

Hewland developed it, in 1989, for IMSA, and SCCA Trans Am competition. Max. torque range is 550 to 600 lbs. ft. Horse power loss is minimized, by the design. These gear boxes are typically run, in GT-1, GT-2, GT-3, and EP race cars. It is a low maintenance gear box, easy to shift, and many ratios are available. They can typically handle 750 HP motors with no issues, in either "narrow" or "wide" configurations.

Misc. gear sets in two totes that show varing amounts of wear. Most appear new.
Additional specialized chassis mounting hardware, is included.
